At Claydon House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Claydon House Coffee Club
Date: First Wednesday of Every Month
Time: 10.30am
This event will be a great place for likeminded people from around the community to get together and make friends, take part in social activities and discuss local issues, all while enjoying a cuppa. All are welcome.

Date: Thursday 9th May
Time: from 10am
Join us for our community garden day, to create a vibrant and thriving space for our residents to enjoy the beauty of nature. Hear the top gardening tips from our expert residents, tea and cake will served.

Claydon House Dog Show
Date: Saturday 8th June
Time: 11.00am – 12:30pm
Our local community and canine friends are warmly invited to our friendly, fun dog show. Categories will be judged by our residents. There is an entry fee of £1.50 per category. Refreshments and treats area on offer for owners and dogs alike!
For the pooches: Lots of fresh water. Pup cakes, water bowls & treats available to buy.
For dog owners and guests: Fruit, cakes & ice lollies. Tea, coffee & soft drinks.
