“Inspiring” Bradbury House care team recognised at esteemed awards

Bradbury House Care Team Award Win at the 2022 Great British Care Awards

The care team at Bradbury House Care Home are celebrating after winning the Care Team Award at the South East Great British Care Awards.

The judges described the care team as, “an inspiring team full of energy and passion for the residents they support. Always looking for new ways of working and improving their service, they have even found a way to bring the outside into their home with an indoor garden project. Well done!”

Praised for demonstrating a shared vision and agreed goals to provide the best care and support, the team were recognised for their ability to encourage and value each other’s skills and knowledge whilst ensuring good practice is always adhered in person centred care.

The care team were also commended for having an excellent communication process and were considered the best at demonstrating a commitment to dignity and privacy for clients along with a mutual support and trust for each other.

Home Manager Kirsty Allen who attended the awards said, “I am so proud of every member of my team. They work incredibly hard to ensure our residents are happy, safe and at the heart of everything we do.”

Kirsty added, “This award is a huge achievement for us and we are excited to see what the future holds for Team Bradbury!”

Hosted by The Only Way is Essex’s James Argent, the black-tie event was held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel on Friday 18th November and attended by over 500 people. The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events, celebrating excellence across the care sector.
