The residents and team at Gildawood Court Care Home in Nuneaton came together to mark and celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, they were joined by singer Bonnie, who sang a range of numbers and was a big hit with everyone, overwhelmed at one point she struggled to sing but resident Stella stepped in and took over which was greatly appreciated.
It was a wonderful afternoon of entertainment that was followed by a few tipples, buffet and lots of cake for all to enjoy. What better way for everyone to remember those who courageously fought for our freedom, sharing stories and coming together to celebrate something so meaningful.
