Hillview Court Nursing Home in Sauchie recently took on an ambitious gardening project, and the community went all out to transform their outdoor space. Led by SMO Jim, residents dove into the challenge with enthusiasm, determined to revamp the garden area into a stunning space that reflected their vision.

The design plan was carefully crafted, with a focus on creating a central feature that would tie the whole garden together. Volunteers Michelle and Callan jumped in to offer their support, and together, the team embarked on the task. They laid stones to form a beautifully symmetrical pathway with a striking sculpture at the heart. The surrounding flower beds were planted with a variety of flowers, each resident adding their own personal touch. It was a challenging project that took lots of creativity and skill, and the outcome was well worth it.

The day was not just about gardening – it was about coming together, pushing the limits of what they could achieve, and creating something truly special. The residents and team were immensely proud of the transformation they had accomplished, having tackled a difficult project head-on and ended up with a stunning, flourishing garden to enjoy.
