Residents at Wytham House Care Home started preparing to make their outside space more colourful over the coming months, by planting lots of flowers.
Our residents love to be active and get their hands dirty. We are always looking to add more to our home to make it look its best. We spent the morning, taking flowers we had bought from our local garden nursery and potting them up, ready to go outside in the gardens.
Activity-based care is a key ingredient at Wytham House, as it is a great way to increase socialisation and engages our residents to help promote independence within the home.
We look forward to carrying out more gardening activities over the coming months, with the warmer weather on its way.
