Earlier this month, Walstead Place Care Home in Haywards Heath residents enjoyed a visit from Our Amazing Animal World.
Formed by Mark and Jerry in 2015, Our Amazing Animal World is an animal sanctuary that gives a forever home to rescue animals. Covering areas such as Sussex, Surrey, parts of Kent, and South London, they run various workshops and events and visit the local community to help raise funds for the care and support needed to look after them.
Putting a smile on all their faces, the residents got to meet a variety of animals including Gloria the chinchilla, Arnold the rabbit, and Mika the meerkat (who Walstead Place has kindly sponsored for a year). A fun afternoon enjoyed by all, the residents got to stroke the animals, learn all about them, and receive their sponsorship certificate which they are really proud of.
