Oak Manor celebrates double shortlisting at Great British Care Awards

Oak Manor Care Home celebrating being finalists in two categories in the Great British Care Awards 2023

The care team at Oak Manor has been shortlisted in the Care Team category, while Deputy Home Manager Hellen Nabbosa has been shortlisted for the Frontline Leaders award.

The Great British Care Awards acknowledge the dedication of care service providers and celebrate their outstanding contributions to the social care sector.

Hellen shared her excitement on the double shortlisting and said: “Being shortlisted for the two awards is a great honour for me personally and I am immensely proud of our amazing team here at Oak Manor. We are all looking forward to the awards night.”

In her five years at Oak Manor, Hellen has transformed the home with her exceptional leadership, commitment to extensive training, and dedication to the home and its residents.

Through resident-led projects, therapy animals visits, a local nursery partnership, and more, the team has worked towards making a significant impact on residents’ lives.

The winners of the East of England regionals of the Great British Care Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Milton Keynes on Friday, 3rd November.
