Recently at Thames View Care Home in Thames Ditton, we celebrated our lovely resident Joan’s 101st birthday with a party.
Joined by her closest family and residents, this amazing milestone was celebrated with a special birthday cake, afternoon tea, her favourite music (sung by her favourite singer, Dan Stark), and lots of singing and seated dancing in the bistro.
Raquel Pena Aristizabal, Health and Wellbeing Lead at Thames View Care Home said, “Joan was very happy with her 101st birthday party, her family was around her, her favourite singer was there, and many residents came to help her celebrate. Joan was on top form for her special day, we were thrilled to be able to put on a memorable occasion for her.”
