It has been a busy week at Thames View Care Home in Thames Ditton with everyone coming together to celebrate a wedding anniversary and birthday.
To start the week we celebrated Mo’s birthday with a gathering in the bistro, our hospitality team made a delicious cake to mark the special occasion which included macaroons. Mo is our much loved Wellbeing Resident Ambassador at our home and everyone wanted to take the opportunity to wish her a happy birthday.
The celebrations didn’t stop there Julia and Michael marked their 63rd Wedding Anniversary this week as well. There was a lilac theme to the celebration in-keeping with the year and all residents and colleagues wanted to be a part of this special occasion.
Michael took the opportunity to make a speech which was very moving and was inspired by the wonderful woman who has been his life partner.
We are so pleased that we could be a part of both of these celebrations and make the days extra special for all.
