It’s fun to reminisce the past and the residents and team at Tall Trees got their local Reverend and community involved with the Aria Care Treasured Memories project. It was a chance to preserve their words of wisdom and memories for future generations to find, by putting together a time capsule and placing it in the grounds at the home.
Our local Reverend Anne Hartley attended the time capsule ceremony, and everyone had a great party with lots of lovely food and many interesting discussions between the residents and our guests. In addition to this we also had some wonderful entertainment by Cody – one of our favourites!
Home Manager Steph Jones said, “This time capsule is a good way to reminisce about the past and all the good that happened. It was lovely to have Reverend Anne her with us on the day and we all had a lot of fun getting involved in the project and the ceremony. Thank you to everyone who made this day special.”
