Sundridge Court Blossoms with Community Spirit in ‘Aria in Bloom’ Transformation
In a life-affirming celebration of community, creativity and connection, Sundridge Court has unveiled a stunning transformation of its main patio space, proudly engaging in the summer 2025 Aria in Bloom campaign. This rejuvenation project has brought colour, comfort, and joy to the home’s outdoor area—now a vibrant haven for residents and their families to socialise, relax, and embrace the beauty of their peaceful garden.
The makeover was inspired by a friendly group-wide challenge across Aria Care homes, encouraging teams to reimagine their garden spaces. Fuelled by a spirit of friendly competition and collaboration, Sundridge Court’s team embraced the opportunity to create something truly special—an inviting garden that reflects the warmth and togetherness at the heart of the home.
Residents, relatives, and staff all played an active role in the transformation. From painting fences in cheerful hues to jet-washing patios, potting plants and planting seeds, everyone came together to bring the vision to life. The shared effort turned into a celebration of teamwork and creativity, with plenty of laughter, stories, and sunshine along the way.
One family member’s contribution stood out, as they joined the team on a special visit to Ruxley Centre, helping to hand-select flowers that would add just the right pop of colour to the newly designed space. Their support and eye for design were instrumental in shaping the final result—an uplifting patio that now serves as a cherished hub for everyday moments and special gatherings alike.
