Residents and the team at Sundridge Court Care Home had a Bank Holiday Monday fit for royalty!
A momentous event in our history, the Coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. It took place on Saturday 6th May at Westminster Abbey and many of our homes organised celebrations over the bank holiday weekend to mark this occasion.
Our residents were joined by friends from the local community and a special guest, the Mayor of Bromley. We celebrated with a wonderful afternoon tea. The cake in particular was a triumph and everyone had a very enjoyable time.
It was great to join in with the local community to celebrate such a special event. We even participated in a postcard competition to mark the occasion.
