Residents and the team at Strathview Care Home celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III by having a street party. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side on the day, so the party was taken inside the home!
Our residents and guests had a lovely time at our ‘indoor’ street party. Enjoying the wonderful food prepared by our catering team and listening to the amazing Stella, who came in and played her fiddle for everyone.
A momentous event in our history, the Coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. It took place on Saturday 6th May at Westminster Abbey and many of our homes organised celebrations to mark this occasion.
Our party at Strathview was a wonderful and fitting tribute to the new King and his wife.
