Welcome to Strathview
Strathview Care Home is a small home from home community. Its prime and quiet location on the edge of Auchtermuchty offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, yet we’re just a stone’s throw away from the local shops and amenities. Close to Kinross, Cupar and Glenrothes, and within easy reach of Perth, this community enjoys a picturesque view of open farmland towards the Lomond Hills.
Life at Strathview is a friendly, family setting, we are here for residents, friends, family and the team and we enjoy and cherish the best in everyone within our community. We pride ourselves on our small setting and knowing everyone within our community like our own family – we care from the heart.
What does care from the heart mean to the team at Strathview?
“Treating everyone as we would want our families to be treated, this includes residents, friends, families and the team as equals, going that extra mile to ensure everyone smiles at least once a day, however hard life may feel at that time.”

We love learning as much as we can about who we care for, so your loved one’s time is tailored to their individual need and interests. This can be as small as knowing when they like to wake up, how they like their tea, and everything about their daily routine. Our team take the time to get to know all our residents and encourage independence and communication.
We are dedicated to providing a smooth transition into a home where care is from the heart and interaction with residents is paramount. Our residents show us the way. They tell us what they need, and we do our very best to deliver. Every element of our care is considered with their needs in mind. Surrounding everyone with familiarity, security and care, we make their experience with us as fulfilling as possible.

Meet the Manager
Abi is our home manager at Strathview Care Home – here’s a little bit more about her role at the home in her own words:
“I have worked at Strathview Care Home for more than 7 years and, prior to that, cared for my mum and worked in the private care sector. At Strathview, I’ve worked my way up from administrator to deputy Manager and finally home manager so I know the team well. I have always worked very closely with my team which is very important to me.
As a small home, it’s vital that we support each other and work well as a team. Every member of the team knows they can speak to me whenever they may need to and the same goes for our residents and their families.
I enjoy seeing how even just the smallest interaction on a daily basis can lighten someone’s face and make a difference. I work with people who have given their all to everyone around them and now it is their time to be looked after.
I personally feel that development and training is very important for both the team and myself, every day is a school day! I am proactive in supporting my team to take up all the opportunities provided as we want to be able to offer the best experience possible to our residents, delivering quality care.”
