Transporting our residents back to yesteryear through music can have a hugely beneficial effect. It allows them to have a toe-tap to some classics and can bring memories of trips to dance halls, which evokes much reminiscence.
This type of activity-based care also promotes socialisation and interaction within the home. This is really important for our residents for their health and wellbeing.
Everyone had a great afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the music and are looking forward to the next visit.
