Recently, residents at Strathview Care Home in Fife were joined by their families to visit The Scottish Deer Centre.
Using the home’s own minibus, residents, Bernice and Lesley, had a wonderful day with their families, enjoying quality time with their grandchildren.
The Scottish Deer Centre is a wildlife park that homes various species of Deer, birds of prey and Fife’s only Wolf pack. Our residents and their families had a great time petting and feeding the animals and learning about some rare species. The children especially enjoyed feeding the deer and after getting some great exercise exploring the park, we relaxed in the Café for lunch.
Bernice commented, “I have had a lovely time. I got to pet the animals – it was so much fun! Thank you to Mandy and Penny for taking me.”
