Sizzling Summer Fun at Acacia Care Centre
Acacia Care Centre was alive with the spirit of summer recently, as residents, families, and friends gathered for a vibrant and heart-warming Summer BBQ. The event was a true celebration of togetherness, filled with sunshine, laughter, and joyful moments shared among all who attended.
Guests enjoyed a delicious array of freshly grilled favourites, while the talented Liz provided delightful entertainment that had everyone smiling. The atmosphere was one of connection and cheer – a perfect reflection of the close-knit community at Acacia.
Adding to the day’s success was a fantastic Bake Sale in support of Age UK. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of those who contributed, the team were proud to reach their fundraising target, raising an impressive £200 for the cause.
The excitement continued with a lively raffle, where guests had the chance to win some wonderful prizes – and there was no shortage of laughter as winning tickets were drawn.
Heartfelt thanks go to all who donated cakes, supported the fundraiser, and helped make the day so special. It is through the kindness and involvement of the community that Acacia Care Centre continues to thrive – creating moments that matter, and memories that last.
