In an English Country Garden…
As part of Aria in Bloom week, residents and team members at Steep House came together for a heart-warming afternoon that celebrated the joys of nature, creativity, and community.
Set beneath the graceful canopy of the home’s beautiful old oak tree, residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tea outdoors, soaking up the fresh air and early signs of spring. The garden came alive with the sounds of cheerful conversation, laughter, and birdsong — the perfect setting for a truly special day.
We were delighted to be joined by pupils from Bedales Pre-Prep, along with their teachers, family members, and care team staff. Together, they rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a variety of gardening activities, from planting vibrant new flowers and aromatic herbs to painting garden features that will brighten the space for months to come.
The event not only helped transform the outdoor area into a colourful, sensory-rich retreat, but also brought people of all ages together, echoing Aria Care’s values of connection, belonging and purpose. Moments like these reflect the deep-rooted belief that everyone should feel valued, engaged and part of a community that cares.
Thanks to the hard work and creativity of all involved, the garden at Steep House is now in full bloom — a beautiful, living celebration of the season and of the people who made it possible.
Here’s to many more joyful afternoons in the garden, filled with companionship, care, and colour.
