The community at Riverside Place Care Home enjoyed making the home all ‘Halloweeny’ and spooky last month!
Everyone made lots of decorations, with the team encouraging our residents to do what they could from simple paper chains to making witches hats, decorated jars to painted pumpkins!
One of the team, Sally, noticed Halloween decorations being put up in the vicinity of our home, so invited the local community to join us on the Sunday, when the children could dress up.
It was a lovely time with the local people chatting with the residents and everyone looked spooktacular in their Halloween costumes. A couple of our residents exclaimed “I love all the costumes the children are wearing,” said Rita. Barbara added “This is so lovely to see these children dressed up”.
Everyone has such a great time and enjoyed themselves so much, they plan to come in again at Christmas and join in the fun at our home!
