At Riverside Place we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Join us for our monthly Dementia Café an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences in a safe and supportive environment, with cake and beverages.

Join us for our Friendship Café each month. Take some time to come in for a chat whilst enjoying cakes and beverages. Dog walkers welcome – please call to confirm attendance.

Riverside Place Christmas Fayre
Date: Wednesday 27th November
Time: 11am – 6pm
Celebrate the festive season by joining us at Riverside Place Care Home for our Christmas fayre. With a tombola/raffle, stalls, live entertainment, mince pies, mulled wine, and a visit from Santa, we have everything you need to get into the Christmas spirit.

Join us as we get into the festive spirit with our friends from Thundridge CE Primary School for Christmas carols. We will also have a special guest (Little Donkey) who will excited to meet and greet you all.
