Full House of Fun: An Afternoon of Bingo and Giving Back at Oaklands House

Bingo, Bakes and Big Smiles: A Joyful Afternoon in Support of Marie Curie

Oaklands House residents, their families, and team members recently enjoyed a wonderfully uplifting afternoon of bingo, sweet treats, and community spirit—all in support of a truly worthy cause.

The event was held in a beautifully decorated room, filled with bright colours, cheerful chatter, and the unmistakable sound of bingo numbers being called. The joyful atmosphere was matched only by the sense of friendly competition, as guests took part in several lively rounds of bingo. There were smiles all round as winners proudly selected from a delightful range of prizes, adding an extra element of excitement to the day.

Alongside the fun and games, a delicious cake sale was held in aid of Marie Curie, raising vital funds to support the charity’s compassionate work in providing care for people living with terminal illness. Beautifully boxed cupcakes, old-school sponge cakes, and other tempting homemade bakes were available to purchase, all lovingly prepared and presented. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who attended, an impressive £50 was raised.

At Aria Care, creating opportunities for connection and purpose is at the heart of daily life. Events like this bring people together, foster friendships, and make a meaningful difference in the wider community.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all who contributed, donated, and joined in the festivities—your support helped make the day a memorable success for all.
