On Thursday 3rd October, the residents and team at Oaken Holt Nursing and Residential Home in Oxfordshire were delighted to have television presenter Chris Packham come and film at the home.
Part of The One Show, Autumnwatch returned to our screens last month to celebrate the vibrant seasons and discuss Halloween folklore. During one of the segments, Chris was seen exploring Wytham Woods and Oaken Holt’s grounds for a special feature on badgers and corvid roosts.
During the segment, Chris explored why some of our favourite animals including bats, owls, toads, and corvids (which were spotted at Oaken Holt) have become firmly written into our folklore.
A truly unforgettable day for all, Chris kindly visited and spoke to the residents after he had finished filming on the home’s grounds.
