Oak Manor Care Home are celebrating after winning an award at the prestigious Great British Care Awards, taking home the ‘Care Home Team Award’ in the East of England region.
The team was recognised for its dedication to providing high-quality care to residents and placing “care and compassion at the heart of the home” by ensuring that team members have “the same high personal values.”
They were celebrated for their willingness to share their experiences openly with one another, empowering them to build a knowledgeable and diverse team that can better connect with those they care for.
Oak Manor’s regional win means the team has now been automatically shortlisted as a finalist in the national competition, which will take place in March 2024.
