Earlier this month the residents and team at Mount Pleasant Care Home in Burton-upon-Trent enjoyed a fabulous afternoon raising money for a worthy cause.
We hosted an afternoon tea for all to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, our residents in our community had a lot of fun with the “guess the weight of the boob cake” competition and making decorations for the event.
There were a range of sweet treats from sponge cakes to cupcakes which everyone had with a lovely cuppa.
Thousands of people every August support the cause to raise funds to support and help those that are affected by breast cancer, with afternoon tea events, raffles, bake sales and so much more.
Everyone at our community was proud to be a part of it this year raising over £100 – well done to all involved!
