Mount Pleasant Care Home took part in a countywide afternoon tea to celebrate the launch of the new Aria Care Group.
Colleagues and residents from Mount Pleasant care home in Burton-Upon-Trent enjoyed a floral themed afternoon tea party as it marked the occasion.
Aria Care has 50 care homes in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
The group celebrated its official launch on Monday, 13th March at its head offices in Colchester, Essex, with an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea.
Homes across the group, including Mount Pleasant, then joined in the celebrations with their own tea parties on Tuesday, 14th March, with sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
The home was decorated for the party and operations director Ruth Yates and Mount Pleasant resident Phil Dyson were on hand for the official ribbon cutting, to open the event.
Home manager, Nikki Kelly, said: “We had a great time celebrating at Mount Pleasant, both the residents and the staff had a lovely afternoon. We’re looking forward to the future with Aria Care and continuing the excellent service we deliver to our residents.”
Caroline Roberts, CEO of Aria Care, said: “The launch event was absolutely fantastic and everyone had so much fun. We are thrilled that our colleagues and residents across the country were able to join in with the celebrations too and hope everyone enjoyed their tea parties.
“Aria Care reflects our commitment to providing excellent care and delivering a quality lifestyle to the elderly people in our communities. We are delivering a service which our residents and families can trust. We feel our new motto, Care from the Heart, reflects this dedication.”
