The residents and team at Moorlands Nursing Home in Lightwater enjoyed taking part in Aria in Bloom where we got out in the garden and rolled our sleeves up.
As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to get into the garden. At Aria Care we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May, with a ‘One Team Approach’. We understand the importance of making a great first impression so we rallied our teams to work together and get ready for the summer.
Everyone joined together to transform the courtyard garden at the home which in the summer is a lovely sunny sun trap area which is great for our residents to use and relax in. We took on a range of activity including giving the garden furniture a bright new coat of paint, planted a range of beautiful flowers as well as a general tidy up ready for the coming summer months.
The final results were fantastic – a very BIG thank you to everyone who got involved!
Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.
