As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to get into the garden. At Aria Care we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May, with a ‘One Team Approach’. We understand the importance of making a great first impression so we rallied our teams to work together and get ready for the summer.
The team, residents and their families at Marchglen Care Home are extremely proud of their home. Those who are passionate about gardening, donned their wellies and had a great time getting involved in our Aria in Bloom activity.
Our team, along with our volunteers, including Provost Donald Balsillie helped brighten up the front of our home. A wooden planter was made and painted in our new Aria green. We upcycled tables and planted flowers and herbs.
Everyone had fun in the Scottish sunshine and we would like to thank everyone involved for all their efforts on the day, in particular our family members and Provost Donald Balsillie. We still have a few projects to finish, which include painting our wooden gazebo and building a wishing well.
Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.
Marchglen provides nursing care on a permanent or short stay basis. If you are looking for a care home and want to find out more about our home call freephone 0808 223 5522.
