Recently at Magna Care Centre in Wimborne, the residents were treated to a spa day at home to relax and unwind.
To treat the residents and remind them of the importance of self-care, they had the choice of mini hand massages with manicures, aromatherapy with essential oils, and crystal healing card readings.
A relaxing and enjoyable activity for all, the wellbeing team made it extra special with herbal teas and mint-infused water.
Wellbeing Lead Claire said, “we had a wonderful time, it was so lovely to see those who weren’t sure if they would like it joining in and feeling relaxed.”
Resident Joan added, “I wasn’t sure about the crystal healing cards and what they would reveal. I was so surprised that the card I was drawn to resembled me and told me I should take more care of myself.”
