On 14 March 2023, Kippingtons Care Home hosted an unforgettable party to celebrate the launch of Aria Care. The event was filled with music, laughter, and joy as residents and staff members enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment, delicious food, and great company.
Aria Care has three homes in Kent and 50 in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
The group celebrated its official launch on Monday, 13th March at its head offices in Colchester, Essex, with an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea.
Homes across the group, including Kippingtons, then joined in the celebrations with their own tea parties on Tuesday, 14th March, with sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
Kippingtons was decorated for the party and entertainment was provided by local artists. The highlight of the event was a stunning performance by Annie Riley, a talented singer and close friend of Dame Vera Lynn, who knew her for 17 years. Annie captivated the audience with her beautiful voice, and even had residents singing along and dancing.
The party also featured a delicious buffet prepared by Rhys, the talented chef at Kippingtons. The spread included a variety of mouth-watering treats that were enjoyed by all. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as residents, staff, and guests mingled and enjoyed each other’s company.
