As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to get into the garden. At Aria Care we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we launched our Spring into Summer initiative this May, with a ‘One Team Approach’. We understand the importance of making a great first impression, so we rallied our teams to work together and get ready for the summer.
The residents and team at Kingsclear Care Home were joined by friends and family, as they took part in our Aria in Bloom activity, as everyone worked together in the garden to make it summer ready.
While some residents did some pot planting indoors, the team and volunteers were outside planting colourful flowers in our raised beds and pots, tidying up the flowers beds and adding new plants. We also put up some garden ornaments, beautiful butterflies and hung colourful bunting and hanging pots on the fence.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us on the day for all their hard work, the outside space at Kingsclear is now summer ready and looking amazing!
Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.
