Kingsclear Care Home in Camberley marked Care Home Open Week in style with a packed schedule of activities, celebrations, and a very special visit from the Mayor.
The team were proud to welcome the Mayor, Councillor Louise Ashbery, who spent time chatting with residents and learning more about life at the home.
As part of the celebrations, residents also enjoyed a live performance by singer Ella, whose lively energy had everyone singing along.
There was no shortage of creativity either, as residents got into the spirit of Royal Ascot by designing their own fascinators during a lively arts and crafts session — with plenty of sparkle, feathers and colour on display.
The week ended on a high with Kingsclear’s very own Ascot-themed garden party. From inflatable horse racing to sizzling BBQ food and prosecco on tap, the atmosphere was full of fun and laughter. Singer Daniel wowed the crowd with his performance, and the ‘race of the season’ saw Sienna and her inflatable steed ‘Sally the Stallion’ gallop to victory in front of a cheering audience.
The Kingsclear team would like to thank everyone who joined the celebrations, dressed up for the occasion, and helped make Care Home Open Week a joyful and memorable one.
