Our team and residents at Kingsclear Care Home in Camberley enjoyed a fantastic Care Home Open Week with lots of laughs, great food and a variety of entertainment each day.
On Friday, our brilliant Chef, Leon, put on a magnificent BBQ, serving up burgers, hotdogs and a selection of delicious sides, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all in our beautiful courtyard garden.
We were delighted to welcome the Mayoress of Surrey Heath Councillor Sarbie King and Alasdair Pinkerton from the Liberal Democrats as well as the lovely Paramedics that took the time between their callouts to join us for the fun.
We had a fantastic show put on for us by the very talented tap dancer, Katy, and many of our residents just had to get up and have a little boogey!
Everyone spent the day chatting away, learning about each other’s different walks of life. Our residents certainly have some great stories, and it was fascinating to learn about the amazing work the Paramedics do and the Mayoress’ and Alasdair Pinkerton’s roles in the community.
Our team at Kingsclear are extremely grateful for the outreach from our community to our residents so we want to thank Mayoress Sarbie King, Alasdair Pinkerton, the wonderful Paramedics and the talented entertainers for joining us.
