Busy week at Huntercombe Hall for Care Home Open Week

The residents and team at Huntercombe Hall Care Home in Henley-on-Thames have had a busy week celebrating Care Home Open Week and enjoyed a range of activities.

We were joined by family, friends and the local community as well as Catherine from our local church and Stuart who did Zumba with the residents. Later in the week we were treated to some music by a pianist which our residents loved and some even enjoyed a dance to the music.

To mark the week we also had our second Aria Coffee Club morning which was a great success, everyone getting the chance to have a chat over a cuppa and cake, we are looking forward to welcoming people to our next one later in July.

At Aria Care we are honoured to be a Founding Patron of Championing Social Care and are actively supporting and participating in this year’s Care Home Open Week, an initiative that connects communities and delivers a positive impact in the social care sector.

Caroline Roberts, CEO, Aria Care, shares, “We are thrilled to be a Founder Patron for Championing Social Care, and to further our ongoing commitment to supporting the social care sector.

We firmly believe that everyone should have access to high-quality care, and we are dedicated to supporting the sector in improving standards and promoting well-being. Our participation in initiatives like Championing Social Care is a testament to this commitment.

Our goal is to leave a lasting impact that will benefit future generations by advocating for the benefits of pursuing a career in the care sector.

Working in care is not just a job, it’s a calling. It requires compassion, dedication, and a true desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Raising awareness about the rewards of a career in care can help attract more people to this fulfilling sector, where they can find purpose in helping others and making a positive impact on society.”
