The residents of Heffle Court Care Home in Heathfield recently enjoyed a festive outing to Uckfield, where they attended the enchanting Festival of Christmas Trees held by Holy Cross Church, featuring over 100 trees all uniquely decorated by members of the church and the local community. Residents had a great time exploring the stunning display while sipping on hot chocolate and chatting with other visitors.
The dedicated Heffle Court team volunteered on their day off to help organise the trips, arranging three bus trips throughout the day to ensure as many residents as possible could enjoy the experience.
The Church did a fantastic job getting everyone in the Christmas spirit, with mince pies, and mulled wine, festive music and live entertainment. The day ended on a high note with a beautiful performance of Christmas carols by the Church choir.
