Our latest events

At Garth House we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life and the chance to make new friends and try new things.

Our aim it to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details or our upcoming events:

‘Knit a Square’ Blanket Campaign
Date: Every Thursday

2pm

Join in our ‘Knit a Square’ campaign in conjunction with Dorking Knitting Group. Every Thursday at 2pm, knit a 20cm x 20cm square as part of our Blanket Campaign to keep those people in need, warm this winter. Knit a square and make a difference!

Community Coffee Morning 
Date:
First Thursday of Every Month
Time: 10.30am – 12pm

Our monthly coffee clubs are free for anyone in the community to attend. Come and join us for a coffee, cake and chat with our lovely residents.

World Book Day
Date: Thursday 6th March
Time: 1pm -2pm
Join us as we celebrate the joy of reading with our favourite books and fun activities for World Book Day.
