Home of Compassion and Galsworthy House are teaming together to collect clothes for YMCA St Paul’s Group.

The clothes have kindly been donated by the homes to be used at YMCA’s Wimbledon and Walthamstow sites where they have supported housing schemes which are designed to help people develop in all aspects of life; mind, body, and spirit, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their community, with a real focus on social inclusion.

Harry McKeown, Head of Housing, Care and Support for YMCA St Paul’s said: “Thank you so much to Galsworthy House and Home of Compassion Care Homes for the donation of clothes which will be given to people who have been affected by homelessness and are in supported housing with YMCA St Paul’s Group throughout London, Surrey and Berkshire.

The two YMCA sites have 299 units of supported housing for single people aged 18 and above with housing and support needs, individuals who are homeless, vulnerable and/or at risk, people living with mental illness, learning disabilities, or recovering from substance misuse or those who are fleeing domestic violence.
