Residents at Galsworthy House Care Home carried on enjoying the wonderful summer we have had with their very own Beach Party! The team worked hard to bring the atmosphere and excitement of the seaside to the grounds of the home.
There were delicious salads, vibrant coloured sweet treats and fruit on offer, as well as ‘holiday-inspired’ drinks served in coconuts! There was a blow up palm tree drinks cooler with bright bunting adorning the patio area. A sensory sea and sand experience was set up for our residents to enjoy, with a paddling pool and sand pit for residents to dip their toes, and the care team helped with the experience as our residents loved seeing them dressed in fun and very colourful outfits!
