Love was all around for the residents and team at Forth Bay Care Home last month. Our residents joined in a number of Valentine’s Day activities. Also one of our lovely team members prepared a special treat for each resident.
Celebrations started earlier in February with the launch of a special Valentine’s Poem Competition. This was a bit of fun for our staff and residents. Then one of our team made every resident a heart and put their initial on it.
She handed out to the residents on the day, along with an added chocolate. Our residents loved receiving their personalised felt heart with chocolates.
There were a number of excellent entries for the Valentine’s Poem Competition and after much deliberation it was eventually won by Fiona, with Renna in second place and Stuart coming in third place – well done to all who entered!
