The community at Forth Bay Care Home sent a letter to the King. The letter was to congratulate him on his Coronation and wish him a happy birthday and best wishes for a long and happy reign as King. We were overjoyed to receive a card back from the King and Queen thanking us for our well wishes.
Staff and residents within our dementia suite wrote him a letter following his Coronation and his birthday, sending him our best wishes for his birthday and his future as King.
We were so pleased and honoured to receive a card back acknowledging our letter. Forth Bay’s Home Manager, Fiona said “It meant a lot to our residents writing the King a letter and knowing we took part in something very special.
“The day we received the card back is one to remember. The look on our residents faces when they opened and read the card from the King and Queen was a very special moment and one we will treasure.”.
