It’s fun to reminisce the past and the residents and team at Ferfoot got the local community and the Mayor involved in the Aria Care Treasured Memories project. It was a chance to preserve their words of wisdom and memories for future generations to find, by putting together a time capsule and placing it in the grounds at the home.
To mark the spot of the time capsule and to celebrate the recent CQC rating of Good a tree was planted by the local Mayor. He also spent time meeting and chatting to our residents during the event. There was an assortment of items sealed in the time capsule, including a dreaded Covid test!
Home Manager Michael said, “This time capsule is a good way to reminisce about the past and all the good that happened. Our residents enjoy the close relationship they have with the local community and had a lot of fun getting involved in the project and the planting of the trees to mark the ‘spot’.”
