A valued team member at Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham is celebrating her 25th anniversary of service.
Marion Carter, a Night Care Assistant at Ferfoot Care Home, has held pivotal roles, serving as both a Senior Housekeeper and Cook. Marion’s versatility and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed have made her an invaluable asset to the team. Her dedication to her work and the well-being of the residents have consistently shone through, making her a beloved figure among both colleagues and those she cares for.
When asked about her favorite aspect of working at Ferfoot, Marion expressed, “Looking after the residents is my favorite thing here. Their well-being is my top priority, and it brings me immense joy to make a positive impact on their lives.”
Reflecting on her time at Ferfoot, Marion shared a heartwarming memory, “It’s been so long, and it’s hard to remember everything, but last Christmas was special. Residents and children from the school came together, dancing and singing along – it was a beautiful and memorable experience.”
Despite her impressive milestone, Marion remains humble about her achievements, stating, “I am happy as I am. No specific aspirations for the future – I find fulfillment in the work I do every day.”
