A Morning of Great Company and Conversation at Dormy House
Dormy House recently welcomed over 30 local business professionals to its vibrant Business Breakfast, a morning dedicated to connection, collaboration and community spirit. Held on 8th October in the home’s bright and airy conservatory, the event brought together a diverse mix of local organisations for relaxed networking over a delicious breakfast prepared by our talented Head Chef.
Guests enjoyed a selection of freshly made dishes, including smoked salmon bagels and all-day breakfast wraps, along with hot drinks and fresh juices. The event provided a welcoming space for business owners and ambassadors to meet, share ideas and form meaningful relationships — without sales pitches or obligations, just genuine opportunities to connect.
A highlight of the morning was the inspiring talk from guest speaker Emma Kisby of Face2Face Maidenhead, who shared her own journey of building a community-led business network.
“It was wonderful to speak to such an engaged group,” said Emma. “The atmosphere was warm and supportive, and I was delighted to see so many valuable conversations taking place. Thank you to Liz and the Dormy House team for such a welcoming event.”
The event was organised by Liz Hockley, Client Relationship Manager, with support from the hospitality, kitchen and management teams, who all helped make the morning a resounding success.
Dormy House received glowing feedback from attendees, many noting how enjoyable and beneficial the gathering was — with new partnerships already forming as a result.
This Business Breakfast is one of many ways Dormy House continues to connect with the local community, showcasing the home’s commitment to hospitality, collaboration and creating spaces where people feel welcome.
