The Home Manager Jo Gullon at Dormy House Care Home in Sunningdale along with her Deputy Manager and George King (Regional Sales Support Manager) have volunteered their time to help a worthwhile initiative in the local community.
We are supporting the local Hope Church Foodshare and coffee morning. The church collects food from stores and suppliers, then opens on Tuesdays to share it with the community.
It is important to us that we support these local projects and George King commented “this is a vital community resource especially given current prices in the shops and all set against the backdrop of a cost of living crisis.”
Going forward George will be on site every Tuesday rolling his sleeves up and supporting the community group. If you are based in the local area and have some spare time they are still looking for volunteers so please do get in touch.
