Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home in Chobham recently put on a fabulous Spanish themed BBQ for our yearly summer event. The community came together to enjoy a wonderful day full of vibrant culture, entertainment and delicious food. Even the weather joined in with the Spanish vibes and the sun was beaming all day for the perfect BBQ.
Our wellbeing team pulled out all the stops and invited some fantastic entertainers in, with Daniella dazzling us with her Flamenco dancing and the very glamorous Sam who had everyone up and dancing along to her Spanish singing.
Our chefs were praised for the mouth-watering Spanish spread they put on, and how best to top off a delicious BBQ in the sun but a visit from Rossi’s ice cream van to cool us all down with some yummy 99s!
Our residents and the community had a fabulous time, with Jackie saying “thank you to everyone who worked so hard to organise such a great event! We all enjoyed it immensely!”
The day was a roaring success thanks to our team who proved yet again that teamwork makes the dream work! We’d also like to say a massive thank you… or ‘gracias!’ to the brilliant entertainers and Rossi’s ice cream van for helping us to make the day so special.
