Claydon House Care Home in Lewes has won second prize in Aria Care’s inaugural Christmas card competition thanks to a festive design of one of its residents.
Claydon House bagged the number two spot in the competition for its card designed by resident Julia.
Her design stood among the 44 entries submitted by Aria’s care homes across the country as part of the annual Christmas card competition.
Vanessa Redford, home manager at Claydon House said: “We are incredibly proud of Julia for bagging the second prize at the competition – her creative design was beautiful and definitely deserved the prize.
“This competition was a great activity for all our residents to partake in this holiday season and we had a wonderful time creating lovely designs.”
As a token of appreciation, each of Aria’s care homes will receive an enlarged copy of its design to proudly display within the home.
