Claydon House raises money for Children in Need

Last Friday, the residents and team Claydon House Care Home in Lewes took part in a fun-filled afternoon to raise money for Children in Need.

Raising money to help support local charities and projects in communities throughout the UK, Children in Need provides essential help to children and young people by funding amazing people in family centres, community spaces, youth clubs, refuges, and hospices.

Joined by relatives, the residents and team donated money to play ‘match the name to the bear’, they wore colourful tops, and took turns (15 in total) to ‘pie’ Regional Support Manager Gary.

Wellbeing Coordinator Emma said, “It was great to see the smiles on our resident’s faces who were pushing Gary’s face into piles of shaving cream!”

Business Support Manager Talia said, “It was an afternoon full of laughs, kindness, and a little bit of messy fun all for a wonderful cause!”

Well done to Claydon House for raising money for Children in Need, the home donated £74 in total.
