The community at Claydon House Care Home in Lewes have been enjoying the start of autumn with some very creative artwork.
Now that the leaves are changing, our residents have made the most of the start of autumn and used the leaves in their crafting! Using the stunning colours and textures of the leaves, some amazing artwork has been produced.
Arts and crafts activities are always enjoyed by those living in our community at Claydon House and this was no exception. Our residents got involved with creating various pieces of art and pictures by utilising the freshly fallen leaves in our garden.
Activity-based care is a key ingredient for our residents to feel engaged and helps socialisation within the home. Arts and crafts activities are a great way to keep hands and minds occupied, as well as providing an outlet for your creative side. Our residents love getting creative and making something individual.
