A Week of Fun at Claydon House for Care Home Open Week

A week of celebrations at Claydon House Care for Care Home Open Week 2023, including a fruit tasting session.

The residents and team at Claydon House Care Home enjoyed a week of celebrations as part of Care Home Open Week. It started off with a live performance with Anna and her guitar. We then held a Holy Communion the following day, with an arts and crafts activity and some scone tasting.

During the rest of the week, we attended a ‘singing for memory’ session at the Lewes House of Friendship, tasted different summer fruits and played games. Ending the week with a nice relaxing game of bingo!

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us during Care Home Open Week and all of our local friends who welcomed us to their activities, our residents had a lot of fun and enjoyment.

At Aria Care we are honoured to be a Founding Patron of Championing Social Care and are actively supporting and participating in this year’s Care Home Open Week, an initiative that connects communities and delivers a positive impact in the social care sector.

Caroline Roberts, CEO, Aria Care, shares, “We are thrilled to be a Founder Patron for Championing Social Care, and to further our ongoing commitment to supporting the social care sector.

“We firmly believe that everyone should have access to high-quality care, and we are dedicated to supporting the sector in improving standards and promoting well-being. Our participation in initiatives like Championing Social Care is a testament to this commitment.

“Our goal is to leave a lasting impact that will benefit future generations by advocating for the benefits of pursuing a career in the care sector.

“Working in care is not just a job, it’s a calling. It requires compassion, dedication, and a true desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Raising awareness about the rewards of a career in care can help attract more people to this fulfilling sector, where they can find purpose in helping others and making a positive impact on society”.
