Care Home Open Week at Brook House

Brook House CHOW

At Brook House Care Home in Towcester, we recently celebrated Care Home Open Week, welcoming the community to experience life at Brook House, meet our colleagues and residents and observe first-hand that we really do care from the heart. We enjoyed a wonderful week, joined by the lovely people of Towcester who turned up to show their support, including the Towcester Town Council Mayor, Damian Reynolds.

We kicked off the week with some fantastic entertainment, with our talented friend and award-winning Jazz & Swing singer, Ollie Corbett, and the hauntingly beautiful tones of the harp, played by the brilliant Lizzie Peacock. Then Brook House’s very own official storytellers put on an impressive show of Little Red Riding Hood, featuring their grandma and an adorable baby wolf!

We were joined by Mayor Damien Reynolds, who was invited by our Home Manager, Rhiannon Crofts, to become a volunteer at our home and to join The Towcester Rotary Club, a non-profit organisaton dedicated to supporting its community and helping those less fortunate.

We have to say a huge thank you to the community of Towcester, our fantastic entertainers and The Towcester Rotary Club for supporting us at Brook House and helping to make our Care Home Open Week a massive success!
