The Library was filled with colour and creativity last week as residents came together for a morning of still life painting. Joan, Josephine, Cherry and Clive each selected something meaningful to them – from striking tall plants to a charming little boat – and set about bringing their chosen objects to life on paper.
It was a joy to watch their imaginations flourish, with every brushstroke reflecting individuality, expression and talent. The session wasn’t just about painting; it was about the laughter, conversation and sense of achievement that came with sharing the experience together.
At Brook House, moments like these are at the heart of what we do – creating opportunities for residents to explore their interests, celebrate their creativity and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle within a warm, supportive community.
The finished artworks now bring a splash of colour and character to the Library, serving as a wonderful reminder of a morning well spent in the company of friends.
